Chetan Marfatia has more than three decades of experience in institutional finance, encompassing investment management, credit underwriting, transaction origination, structuring, portfolio management and specialized private placements.
Prior to founding FiiCS in 2025, Mr. Marfatia spent more than thirteen years as a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners.
At Guggenheim, he held senior responsibility for investments across military housing, structured real estate and specialized fixed-income markets. During his tenure, he originated and structured more than $7 billion of transactions and managed portfolios totaling approximately $11 billion.
He also developed and expanded transaction administration and servicing capabilities covering more than 80 transactions representing over $9 billion of investments.
Mr. Marfatia has extensive experience with the U.S. Department of Defense Military Housing Privatization Initiative (“MHPI”). His work has included underwriting, structuring and monitoring financings involving military-family housing and related privatized infrastructure across numerous U.S. military installations.
Before joining Guggenheim, Mr. Marfatia held senior positions at Ambac Assurance Corporation, including responsibility for housing-finance activities. Earlier in his career, he worked in municipal and public finance.

Mr. Marfatia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Stony Brook University.
